Introducing the RED Litter…

✨ Litter Announcement! ✨
We are so excited to officially introduce our newest litter here at Southwest Maine Coons

Born on April 25, 2025!

Labor began around 1:00 PM, and I was lucky enough to be there for the whole experience. Mercedes was absolutely stellar- she’s been a total rock star mom. She handled everything on her own like a pro, and I didn’t need to assist at all.

And then came the surprise… every single kitten was the same color and ALL boys! I couldn’t stop laughing. I truly wasn’t expecting that, and it makes this litter feel extra special. Since they all came out red, I went with a "red-themed" name set to match their fiery little spirits.

At first glance, I believe they are all cream smokes, but I’ll be watching closely as their coats continue to develop over the coming weeks.
