At Southwest Maine Coons, we take immense pride in every queen in our program. We are highly selective about who we introduce, and not every girl makes the cut. Each cat undergoes months of careful preparation, including comprehensive health testing before being welcomed into our breeding program.

Our queens are chosen for both their exceptional health and loving, social temperaments. They must pass important screenings such as hip radiographs, echocardiograms, and PCR testing to help minimize health risks. Their pedigrees are thoughtfully curated, often sprinkled with champions, and come from ethical, responsible breeding programs.

We feel incredibly grateful to the breeders who have entrusted us with these remarkable girls. We carefully study each pedigree to ensure thoughtful pairings, always aiming to produce healthy, well-balanced kittens that reflect the very best of the breed.
