Riding their next wave…Retiring and Available Cats
Every now and then, we have a rare opportunity to offer one of our beloved adults to a forever family. These are our Legends — the incredible kings and queens who have played an important role in our program and in our hearts.
We hold our breeding cats to the highest standards in health, temperament, and breed quality, and we’re very selective about who stays in our program. Occasionally, a cat simply isn’t the right fit for cattery life — whether they prefer more personal attention, less structure, or just a quieter home. When that happens, we believe they deserve to live their best life as cherished companions.
Owning a retired king or queen is truly something special — you’re welcoming a cat with personality, wisdom, and a whole lot of love to give. Ask anyone who’s had the experience, and they’ll tell you how rewarding it is.
There’s no set price for our retired adults; we work with each family individually to ensure it’s the perfect fit. You’ll still need to submit an application, as we care deeply about where each of our cats goes.

Fern Gully of SW Maine Coons
Born March 2025 • Female • Kitten
This beautiful girl is Fern—named for her oversized baby ears and her sweet, woodland-creature charm that reminded us of FernGully, a childhood favorite of mine.
She’s very much still a kitten, just past the tiny baby stage (she’s almost 8 months old). She’s playful, spunky, and already growing into a big Maine Coon.
Over the last month or so, I’ve noticed her gums looking red. This can happen with cats in certain developmental stages or with sensitivities, and while it’s manageable, it does mean she’ll thrive best in a home that can offer a little extra attention to routine dental care. She deserves a family that can give her that support.
Fern has a clear genetic panel, is up to date on all vaccines and deworming, and will be spayed before going to her new home. We’ve invested a lot into her health, care, and evaluation, and although she didn’t move forward in our breeding program, she is absolutely not a “free” or low-value cat. Rehoming her does mean taking a significant loss on our end, but our priority is placing her where she can flourish long-term.
For the right family, Fern is an incredible opportunity to welcome a fully vetted, extremely well-cared-for young Maine Coon—with all the beauty, size, and sweetness of the breed—without starting at the newborn kitten stage.
We love this girl dearly, and she deserves only the very best.

Aura of SW Maine Coons
Born 2024 • Female • Retiring Young Adult
This one is bittersweet to write.
Aura is an incredible mother—truly the best. Her kittens have been nothing short of stunning and she gave her whole heart to caring for them. But the truth is she struggled significantly with postpartum recovery. We’ve run an extensive range of tests, ruled out countless concerns and worked closely with our vet. At this point, it appears that Aura’s body simply has a harder time recovering from motherhood.
Because of that, and out of love for her, we’ve made the decision to retire her early. She’s far too special to risk her health, and she deserves a life where she can just be adored, spoiled, and cherished as someone’s companion.
Aura is beautiful, confident, and incredibly friendly. She is not skittish, timid, or shy—she has a stable, warm personality and enjoys being part of family life. She’s still young (just 1 year old), which means she has many wonderful years ahead of her in the right home.
We love her deeply, and placing her is purely about doing what is right for her long-term wellbeing. She will make an amazing pet for a family that wants a sweet, social, and absolutely gorgeous Maine Coon girl.
I’m more than happy to go over her full care history and everything we’ve discovered with the right family. Aura deserves someone who will treasure her as much as we do.
